Variations and controlling factors of vegetation dynamics on the Qingzang Plateau of China over the recent 20 years

Abstract The impacts of climate change and human activities on vegetation dynamics have attracted wide attention, especially in sensitive vulnerable areas such as the Qingzang Plateau China. In this region, a series ecological restoration projects been launched while effectiveness these requires evaluation further improvements. Remote sensing with high temporal resolution spatial coverage is an effective way for research region. study, distribution factors well influencing air temperature, precipitation, land use, slope, slope direction, soil altitude were analyzed. geographical detector was used to analyze influence interaction among different eco-geographical regions. results showed that: 1) average values from 20 years normalized difference index (NDVI) decreased gradually southeast (> 0.61) northwest (0.12). overall NDVI increased 0.02 per year 1998 2018 impact varied regions; 2) some controlling nonlinear enhancement slope; 3) use important factor affecting humid, semi-arid arid areas, but elevation temperature stronger than types semi-humid humid areas. design construction protection required scientific detailed demonstration monitoring evaluation. addition, new tools theories also needed selection ecosystem strategies.
